Tearing out a fireplace can be expensive and unnecessary. Let’s face it, you can repaint walls, redo the floors and replace all the furniture in a room but leaving that eyesore of an old fireplace will only over shadow your new design. Fireplaces are natural focal points, so the look of yours can set the stage for the entire room. Doodlebuggers has been replacing and refacing fireplaces for over 20 years.

While replacing your fireplace may be necessary for a number of reasons sometimes you just need a fireplace upgrade or fireplace face lift.  There are many options to refacing a fireplace available. Options can include custom wall panel systems, stucco, tile, stone veneer, and ship lap. The options are virtually endless and only limited by your imagination. Some times just putting a new fireplace glass door in place or adding a fireplace mantel can change it’s entire look as well. Fireplace doors come in many different options as well and if you can dream it we can usually provide it. Fireplace mantels also can come in different variations and configurations. A wood mantel is the classic go to but metal mantels and concrete mantels made to look like wood are becoming more and more popular. The same goes for a fireplace surround. There are just so many options that you can literally change the entire look of a room when fireplaces are remodeled. And it’s not just the living room but also the bedrooms and bathrooms that can have fireplaces now.
